Rory Jack McDonald, a Canadian music professional, born on March 13th, 2001, in Toronto, Canada, discovered his passion for music at the age of 3 when he received a harmonica. By age 4, he began piano lessons, and at 6, he started performing. Throughout his childhood and teens, Rory showcased his talents at pubs, galas, and blues festivals. Self-taught on various instruments, including guitar, drums, bass, and accordion, he expanded his musical repertoire.

After playing trumpet in a regional arts high school program, Rory decided to pursue his musical passion. In 2019, he was accepted into Berklee College of Music on guitar, where he delved into music production, and songwriting, and honed his instrumental skills. In 2022, Rory released his debut single, "It Just Feels Like Home," a poignant rock ballad influenced by Paul McCartney's music. True to his musical journey, Rory wrote, arranged, recorded, and produced the song entirely on his own, showcasing his multifaceted talents. Adept in songwriting and multi-instrumentalism he skillfully navigates the intersection of rock and blues within his compositions. Having gained admission to Berklee College of Music in 2019, he pursued a comprehensive study of music production and songwriting, culminating in his graduation with a Bachelor of Music in Professional Music in 2023. Rory recently unveiled his first album, "Awake and Alone," on April 28, 2023. Demonstrating his artistic talent, he undertook the writing, performance, recording, and production processes entirely within his Berklee dorm
